Dave, does John 6:69-70 teach unconditional divine election?
This would not indicate that Judas was a person chosen unto salvation. It does not say that he was chosen unto condemnation either but simply indicates that he was a disciple that Jesus chose to serve as an apostle, both practically and officially. See also John 13:18, 15:16, 19 and Acts 1:2 concerning His choosing the apostles Acts 1:15-26.
